With my wife on the injured reserve list, I’ve learned a few things about myself. Perhaps the most striking discovery has been my natural instinct in the kitchen. As they say, you can’t teach this stuff—I just got it. Anyway, here are 5 super easy recipes I’ve created and the world needs to know.
Chips on Bread
Ingredients: 2 slices of bread (any kind) and 1 small bag of chips (any kind).
Instructions: Place the chips between the 2 slices of bread.
Serve with: Any chips that don’t easily fit between the bread.
Food in a Box
Ingredients: Any box in the freezer that says microwave oven not recommended.
Instructions: Remove the plastic and microwave the hell out of the rest.
Serve with: Absolutely nothing.
The Child Labor
Ingredients: 1 kid with a car and a debit card.
Instructions: Tell the kid their injured mother is having a craving for a family bundle from your favorite restaurant and you’re really busy.
Serve with: Paper plates.
The Pantry
Ingredients: 1 pantry.
Instructions: Open and close the pantry doors repeatedly to see if something good magically appears.
Serve with: A refrigerator.
The Fast
Ingredients: Air.
Instructions: Pretend you believe in God.
Serve with: Self-righteousness and a social media account.
